MeMe~Michele Shiver

I've always loved to craft; my Mom was an artist, my Dad was always building things with his hands, so it just came naturally to me that I wanted to create all my life. Growing up, my sister (who is now passed away), never could say my name, so she called me MeMe. That name has stuck with me through the years and more people call me MeMe, than my given name. Then when I started having grandbabies, I called them my monkeys, hence the name, MeMe's Monkeys. Not long after I started taking my crafting hobby to the business level, my husband passed away and I stopped crafting for a while. But then, over the years I began to miss it terribly, so I started back. I sold to friends, family, and locals for many years and as my business grew, I became more serious about it and started expanding my crafting. Then in 2020 when the pandemic hit, I was so worried it would hurt my business, but as more and more people shopped from home, my business grew. I also got my 1st laser that year and my family started crafting with me as well. Little did I know just how much lasers would change our business and grow it! We now travel almost every weekend doing shows and festivals, have our brand in many shops and everyday our little family business is expanding more and more. I love so much that it has turned into a family business, with even the monkeys helping! They love going to shows, doing lives and give aways and have came up with some creative ideas of their own. We have met so many great people over the years and some have even become "adopted family". It's amazing how God works everything together and I stand in awe everyday at all the He does! thank you to everyone who has supported our little shop, you mean more than you could ever imagine! <3
